How do you prepare your low poly meshes for sculpting? I have made my low poly version which is now ready to be sculpted upon, but what's your way of adding more polygons to sculpt? Subdivision surface or multires modifiers give nice results when used with edge crease, but the mesh density won't be the same everywhere. Remesh modifier works kind of okay, not great, not bad I'm wondering how you 'prepare' the low poly mesh for sculpting Your help would be very appreciated

I used the remesh modifier to make the mesh denser and the smooth brush to smooth out the mesh.

Did you bake the mesh or just paint on high poly?

It was baked from the high poly > low poly

how do you reduce the poly count? i mean for video games, one must have less poly counts of models, after you scultped the sword with some awesome details, how do you reduce the poly count?

I created the lowpoly model first and then sculpted the high poly model. I used the lowpoly model for texturing. I baked all the details from the highpoly model to the lowpoly one.
