For the third effect I think you can just use the mask tool in Resolve so you don’t need another program.

Yes, masking is the easiest step. Everything else can also be done in Resolve as well.

But we do have a “tackle Tuesday” segment lined up with our local fishing store and have got a turntable, photo box and lighting on the way to add some creative B roll shots to give the video some depth. Almost. Davinci Resolve is the Cut / Edit / Colorgrade suite i and many other professionals are using, fusion is the integrated „After Effects“ inside the Davinci Suite, which is to me, an After Effects user of 10 years more complicated. And yes, the second App is After Effects.

Your welcome. For Cutting / Editing Audio and Color Grading im using the Industry Standard Davinci Resolve, for Animation im using Adobe After Effects, but you can also Animate in Davinci Resolve.
