Bro, I may be wrong but there is somthing missing in the video, please check at 4:20 and I noteed extra deleted mask area for the Layer "Group 2" which u didn't mention in the video and they appear instantly in layer panel at 4:20 as i was following along this tutorial on my laptop. I'm not sure if this bug is still present in Photoshop. When I use the properties to feather the mask and then go and do other things, sometimes when I get back to the layer with the feathered mask, the layer mask will be completely destroyed. Most of the time I will see weird vertical B&W bars across the mask and the original mask cannot be recovered, so I have to redo the whole mask again. Because of this bug, I have not been using the properties menu to feather masks. It's rather inconvenient but that's just how it is on my end.
