Thank you for your explanation, but what MySQL version did you use in this case. I ask you because according to what I knew, MySQL did not support foreign keys, since what version does MySQL support them?

Thanks for the heads up. I was not aware that mySQL lacked the ability to use foreign keys in old versions. It's been part of mySQL for as long as I can remember.

I have followed your steps but my tables do not update after I synchronize model. I've set the foreign keys in EER Diagram but there are no foreign keys in the local tables. I've tried both Forward Engineer and Synchronize Model. Nothing works. I've been struggling for the past 4 hours to set some damned Foreign Keys between 3 tables and nothing works.

so instead of writing few lines of SQL in Php myAdmin to add foreign key, like: ALTER TABLE table_one_name ADD fk_column_name INTEGER, ADD CONSTRAINT constraint_name FOREIGN KEY(fk_column_name) REFERENCES table_two(id); or doing it using Structure - Relation View tab of Php myAdmin, we go to Workbench, convert Database to Model, manipulate Model and convert it back to database? seems like a lot of extra steps.

You are correct. You can do the same process with SQL statements if you know what to type.

Your second sync deleted the autoincrement attribute in the ADRESSE table ! You should'nt mix modifications in phpmyadmin AND modifications in Workbench ;-)
