A posie is not a flower, it is a small bunch of flowers, often given as a gift or worn as a decoration.

You've already discovered: There is no specific flower that is a "posy". It's a general term for blossoms, a small bunch of flowers. In my mind's eye, I picture less formal, wildflowers as opposed to roses, iris, or tulips.
