Create Gratitude Art

Today we’re exploring the joy of expressing gratitude through art! Let's embark on a special craft activity that not only unleashes your artistic talents but also cultivates a spirit of gratitude to serve as a daily reminder to cherish the blessings in our lives! 🙌✨💫🥰
You will need:
⭐ Scissors
⭐ Craft sticks (in different colours if you wish)
⭐ A4 sheet of paper or thin card
⭐ PVA glue
⭐ Paper/box cutter
⭐ Ribbons or rubber bands
Steps:
1. Lay out the craft sticks side by side horizontally to form the base.
2. Cut the A4 sheet in half and make sure it fits your craft stick base.
3. Mark out one of the halves of the paper with a pencil, using a craft stick to measure the width of each gratitude quote.
4. Write out your gratitude quotes on the paper using the pencil markings as a guide.
5. Draw your chosen design for the reverse side on the other half of A4.
6. Trim both sheets of paper further to fit the craft stick base if needed.
7. Apply a thin layer of glue on the craft stick base and stick down the first sheet of paper.
8. Repeat the process for the other sheet of paper on the other side.
9. Allow the glue time to dry (this could take up to an hour).
10. When the glue is completely dry, use the paper cutter to carefully cut the paper (adults only). On one side, score the paper in the space between the first and second craft sticks. Make sure to not cut through to the paper on the other side.
11. Moving down, skip the next space and cut the space between the third and fourth craft sticks.
12. Repeat the process all the way down.
13. Turn it over so you can cut the paper on the other side, this time make the first cut between the second and third craft sticks.
14. Moving down, skip the next space and cut the space between the fourth and fifth craft sticks.
15. Repeat the process all the way down so the cuts are made opposite to the paper on the other side.
16. Carefully fold up the craft sticks along the alternate cuts.
17. Secure each end with the ribbons or rubber bands.
