I'd love to see Jack go on That Pedal Show and set up a pedalboard specifically for keyboards

Greetings from Cali! Love all your videos even though I'm no keys guy. The first video I watched was the JDXI review and you had me busting up! There is no replacing true personality, keep up the good vibes. These pedals are dope!

Thank you for making this video, I was searching for a demo of the junky but they’re all on guitar. Makes sense as it’s a pedal but I’m not a cowboy! I wanted to see how the junky would sound on my samplers and drum machines. Well done.

My favorite sounds right now are my keyboard through an Empress Reverb and Echosystem. Incredible stereo goodness.

A great pedal too add grit is the digitech rp55.. Preset 80 is brilliant for drums and it's a fraction of these pedals. For synths the tc electronic pedals are superb for the money I have a ton of those and have them plugged into my patch bay so I can put anything I want threw them.. Favourite one to use with the pedals is the korg monologue and behringer td3

Great comparisons! Want to get one of those Shallow Waters but think it might become too gimmicky too fast. Kind of like running EVERYTHING through Valhalla Shimmer.

“I’m being very selfish”-then he gives keys and synths players the likely best Instant Lo-Fi Junky demo on the internet. Thank you!

I’ve rewatched this video several times, because it really is so good! I am a keyboard/synths player, primarily, and I have LOTs of pedals.

I’m back… oh, and I’ve got both pedals from this video, now. Also, the CS12 power supply 😅😊

I have looked at lot's of shallow water demos as I had been thinking of getting one, I just don't find the thing very musical.

I’ve never heard of Kenton Midi stuff... but I never see my first name anywhere. That’s pretty cool to actually have my name on a piece of kit. Not to mention that I’ve actually been look for a midi thru box!

Thanks for this video ! I was always asking witch one is the best, but I think you need to try this one too : Chase Bliss Audio / Cooper FX Generation Loss. To me, it's the best "lo-fi" pedal of all !

Cool but I can't say I'd ever pay nearly £300 for what can be achieved at a fraction of the cost with an old portastudio or even less with some plugins.
@ryantakach14783 жыл бұрын
Portastudios don’t sound this degraded and they ain’t that cheap anymore either
@maquettemusic16233 жыл бұрын
@@ryantakach1478 Paid £100 for my portaone :D they out there! 100% can sound brutally degraded but it's dependent on the tape you use. Use old tape that you've damaged by hand or spliced, or take the tape cover off and loop tape around a pole to the playhead.

No lofi tracks from any playlist sound like this, both pedals are vastly over exaggerated even on low settings they'll make you sound like a joke or a parody, the Strymon Deco is a million times better as it actually sounds like tape, where as these over priced hipster pedal sound like your under water.
@ushnicyuvnikof27482 жыл бұрын
@iggy imho it's a gimmick. P90s and playing without a pick sound more convincingly retro.
