I kinda feel like Tango's contraption isn't in the spirit of the mod. He's just exploiting the minecart functionality and going right to quarrying on day 1. In a mod about using water and wind to generate force to power contraptions, he bypassed both.

No Zed, the thing that is "truly groundbreaking" is the vertical mining machine Tango built. I'd watch out for unexpected shafts descending to bedrock if I were you.

Water flowing the wrong way around the wheel causes it to produce less rotational speed and stress capacity than if the water was flowing the right way. Having water flowing in the opposite directions might slow down the rotational speed or even stop it. The direction of rotation is counter-clockwise when placed standing, or clockwise when crouching.” 💖

You don't need the bearing for windmills, you just attach the machine directly to the windmill part of the mill.

I said this to Tango too, but Zedaph, you should consider posting schematics of your Create mod builds, or perhaps an updated world download every 10 episodes on Patreon or some other similar site. It would allow people to support you and get access to your inspiring builds in return. A lot of people, myself included, could learn a lot about the Create mod by studying your schematics, and I personally would be happy to subscribe to your Patreon if you posted them on there. I'm very excited to see what you do in the next episode! You guys brought my favorite Create mod series back, better than ever, which I am very happy about!

It's been said before, but Create really is a step up in Minecraft mods. It's soo much more aesthetically pleasing than a lot of the mods that do similar, and feels way more minecrafty in it's implementations.

flip those water wheels around. they'll be more efficient that way. the water will flow into those flaps instead of over, causing the wheel to spin faster and produce more SU. another thing, i would recommend getting crushing wheels as soon as possible

Tip... the water wheel can spin much faster if the wheels are facing the correct direction. Currently your little work station water wheels are backwards.

I just started ragnamod VI and it relies heavily on create mod. I personally have a really hard time reading instructions and putting them to work so im so unbelievably happy to have FIVE of my favourite creators playing with it. Being able to watch you and tango mess with the mechanics and explain how they work has really helped me move along my production, while seeing scar and bdubs play with the building blocks will be super inspiring. I cant wait to see papa K come in!!

hey, so you know, water mills benefit from moving water on all sides as long as it goes with the flow. in particular, soul sand bubble column in the back helps a bit

Stone generator -> grind to gravel -> wash for flint / iron. Free iron.

Washing Gravel into Iron Nuggets is nice and all, but if you're ever in need of Flint, I'd recommend _milling_ the Gravel. _Not_ crushing, _milling._ Very important distinction, because apparently Gravel is the only ingredient that can be processed by both a Millstone and Crushing Wheels while also having a different output depending on which is used. Crushing Wheels will give you a block of Sand guaranteed, alongside 10% chance for Flint and 5% chance for one Clay Ball, but the Millstone will simply give you one guaranteed Flint but nothing extra. (I mean, Iron is renewable by vanilla means anyway, so washing Gravel for nuggets seems less important and very risky to me, especially with such a high chance to get literally nothing out of it.)

6:44 Portable storage interfaces (or anything attached to the LIGHTER side of the andesite chassis)do not require glue . Attaching a block tothe chassis will be added to the contraption as a object. Glue is pretty buggy especally on a server. In my playthrough it caused the frames to die pretty quickly cuz i used it a lot.

Did you know: by wrenching the Water Wheels to lay flat, they can produce 320 stress units per, instead of just 240ish? Oddly enough, they also spin at a higher rotational speed, so when you up-gear them once, they can run a single machine at nearly max speeds!

just so you know, you can build your crop farm on the windmill bearing with no mechanical bearing required, just attach the sails to the farm and right click the windmill bearing

You can max out the waterwheel by using soul sand to make a bubblevator on one side. You also have the water flowing the wrong way over it. Turn the waterwheels around.

Hey Zed, waterwheels actually produce more energy if have them rotate the other way. Think about them catching the water running over them, rather than letting it slip over the slats

Zed i believe if you flip the water wheels at 4:00 around you get more SU! The direction in which the water catches the protruding bits from the water wheel makes it more efficient

Zed, Trap doors do not burn. One can make a three by three 'oven' that does washing, smelting, and cooking without swapping out source blocks. If you like I can send you the schematic for a few builds/contraptions which make use of some interesting/advance game mechanics.

You can put a depot in front of your fan system to avoid getting hurt by the flames and your items wont float out of the wind

for crafting, fan speed only affects the range of the fan, not the crafting speed. (have them blow in the same direction a conveyer belt moves for more efficiency and safety than than a line of fans blowing perpindicularly)

If you use a depot instead of just throwing items then it makes it alot easier to pick them up when using the lava/campfire.
