Maintenance plans are SQL Server integration service packages which are executed by SQL Server Agent job on configured schedule. Using maintenance plans, we can automate the tasks.

Thank you for this informative video. Just a question. I have created the backup plan with encryption. So, will there be any issue in restoring if required. Because actual DB size was 71 GB and size of encrypted DB is 8 GB.

Extremely great video, thank you. You indicated at 04:38 that "Ignore database when the state is offline" must be checked. Is it correct? If selected, I believe the backup will fail if the database is offline. Could you please verify?
