Hey, thank you for the feedback :) ! If runway doesnt do the job for you in this specific case, you can also try Kling AI or hailuo ai if they help you for this shot. I am sure that Runway will soon implement features like a motionbrush etc. to control movements better

Couldnt you have typed in the rain on top of the original clip? How come you didn't text to video the rain on top of the original clip of you standing there vs. deleting yourself?

Hey, good question! :) I mainly didn't do that because Runway is often transforming moving things from existing footage in weird ways. To overcome this struggle and keep the "clean" movement of myself, I only added the rain to the background since its not moving, which is easy for runway to handle. Also I used it as an opportunity to show you a way how to use runway for keying out characters in your shot and using the generative fill tool in Photoshop
