5:23, Why is my rectangle forming the other way? mine forms by moving downwards instead of to the left like yours. i know its a stupid question but I do wish to know. If anyone can help that would be great

This one is great! So simple and clean looking, but with a little extra pizzaz using that outer box effect. Nice! Thanks for the great tutorial. I can imagine I'll be using this plenty on client videos. It was fun playing around with varied gradient colors on the inner box stroke.

Do you have videos that take this and get even more basic and slower? For instance, what are all the options on the "pre compose" window? Further, what is "pre compose." Love your tutorials? I'm starting from square one though.

Pre-compose is a set of layers inside a layer. It is very useful to creative work in AE. There's a lot of tuts about pre-compose in KZbin, you have to study to understand the concept.

pre composing is basically like merging two objects into a layer. At least thats what i have learnt
