Miles separator “.” That appear with “,” if the number is a formula (taxes), and the format of days. I would like to have “24 de novembre de 2023” which is catalan… but It results impossible. Hi Karen,thanks for your comment. Yes certainly, you can use an html email body for this then copy the html code into a cell. Once you are finished with the email text you can add the html signature (copied from a cell) onto the end of the email. I hope this helps. I used this tutorial to create a workbook to send emails with several email templates to choose from a couple of years ago which worked great up until a few months ago when all zeros within the template are replaced with a random long number when I run the VBA code. I found a solution thanks to Benny Oettel. I ended up making the date a variable with text as the format (yyyy) rather than including 2022 within the email template message. Works beautifully. Now the issue I need to resolve is formatting a four digit number with leading zeros since after running the macro, the zeros are deleted.

Great and thanks so much. Benny is one of my best students who has taken every one of my courses and is also a great guy too. For numbers that begin with a 0 , you can try adding an apostrophe before the number, so that Excel will see this as a text, or formatting the cell as a text and not a number may help. Hi Rene, thanks so much, yes you can have lots of attachments in a single email. You may want to use a temporary folder for these attachments, then add all attachments within the folder. Once attached move or delete the items in this temporary folder. I hope this helps and thanks.

I did not test this with header or footer text, however I am assuming this would require different code as the code provided primarily works in the body of a document. You may want to use a dynamic header/footer or search for a VBA solution on Word Headers & Footers. I hope this helps. Hi Anita, I also had the same problem. But to keep it simple I have inserted a plain text content control, in the footer and one in the word body. To hide the text from the body I have changed the font colour to white. That solved the issue.

HI Achmad thanks for your question. This sets a variable to a specific Word document range. If you are getting a bug from this make sure you have the correct Word Library installed. Reset any bugs then in the VBA Editor go to Tools > References and look for any item that might be missing and unselect it. Then scroll down and look for any 'Microsoft Word Library' item. This should fig bugs associated with that item. I hope this helps. Hi, this video has been extremely helpful to me. Could you tell me though, if one of the values for the variables in the template is blank, how can I make it show up in the template as blank. For example, in the column [Date] there is no date in the row that is generating an email. Kudos Randy, Excellent. I guess in column K we can enter more than one email separated by a semicolon (;) , is that right? For those cases that the user has more than one email and you want to reach all of them.

Hi Edward, Outlook recognizes the semicolon as the delimiter for multiple email addresses in Outlook so this should work when adding additional emails into the To section. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Thats a realy great example and it will solve (I hope) my formating of showing correct values (currency) in the WORD template. The problem is that if I use "." as decimal and "," as seperator like you do all is fine. But we use in our country "," as decimal and "." as seperator like #.##0,00 € or ##.##0,??? € But this way "." wont be shown and the decimals after , are not shown correct. If the number has normaly one or 2 decimals more then 2 are shown and if the number has no decimal 2 decimal are shown ,00 which is fine. My system setings are , deciaml and . seperator. Same is done in Excel who takes this settings from the system. I also switched to manual but no change. Any clue?

Another thing i want to discus there is why this script destroys text written as a fraciton lets say 4/1 or 8/2 or 12/3 in my case (tried also 4-1 or 1-4 and does the same). In Word the result of the copy/paste is the date value of 43834 for 4/1 for example. I have spent several hours try to fix this with a varformat like #/# or simmilar but it won't help. The funny thing is that in your old VBA from kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4OpZJyhjJWGrMU where you use ".Replacement.Text = TagValue" instead of the new ".Replacement.Text = Application.WorksheetFunction.Text" the 4/1 stays formated like writen in EXCEL when pasting to WORD.

Hi Peter you may want to add the date into a text variable first before sending it over to Word, Once properly formatted in Excel and then converting it to a string ensures that it will always remain in that string form

I’ve just found your KZbin! It’s amazing! I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of a video that can assist with the following. At the moment I have a template where I fill in the data for a whole bunch of categories for the shift- I then have the employees name of who worked that shift. I have to manually enter all the income that employee has earnt as I go on a seperate spreadsheet that I can provide them with at the end of the year- is there a way I can create a spreadsheet that will link the employee income as I enter their name? Or a way to filter it. It’s had me baffled for days. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
