Hi David, Thanks for your video - so helpful, I think I've watched it 20x! Can you explain how to make the divider layer and why the tile needs to go behind it? Also, where do I find "tile" effect? Is it "motion tile"?

Hey man, I'm using this project and the 'Hand' layer in the Main Comp goes blank @ 00:01:17 (just for that freame, it's back at 1:18) no matter if I move the layer in the front ruler to the front or to the back and I can't figure out why. Do you have idea on how this is happening? Also, how's that layer lasts so long, since when I click it opens the 'Hand Source' layer that only lasts 15 frames? Please give me an hand (no pun intended) here, really needing. Thanks!

Hi In the video, you said: "Just take the position, and just animate this position property" Actually I watched the other video 'After Effects - Creating a Paint Reveal Effect' but I don't know how to link the animation of the hand with animated whiteboard drawn elements. .. I'm using AE 2017 and when I pressed 'Position', the following expression was appeared instead of the blue bar: [value[0], value[1], wiggle(effect("wiggleZ freq")("Slider")*effect("wiggleZ 0n/Off")("Checkbox"), effect("wiggleZ amp")("Slider"))[2]] .... Kindly would you recommend a tutorial or a link that I can learn how to animate the hand position to be compatible with the whole animation scene ^__^ Thanks

You can't copy the the animated whiteboard drawn element with the hand, u can only copy the text animation with stoke animation presets, by copying the mask path and past it to the hand position.

Hey man, please give me a reply in my last comment, I'm trying to edit your project, I replaced the hands png images on the 'Hand Source' comp but I can't figure out how the 'Hand' comp inside the 'Main Comp' continually keeps casting the png's on the timelime, since the 'Hand Source' comp is just 17 frames long. I'd like to know so I can edit it properly, since it's randomly casting one of the png's used before my replacement and I dunno why. Thanks!

+GusMOfficialChannel Hey, I can't get my version to recreate this problem. The Hand Source is using the time-remap effect. You can see this if you pull open the keyframes. It's using this so that it can switch out the image of the hand as the direction of the animation changes.
