I don't really feature the spring mechanism having sufficient strength to cut off the rodent's breathing & end its life, so it looks like you might be salting the traps. That said, the design does look sound enough to get the job done. You just need a more honest approach to your uploads.

@@idahosagodspower7396 except none of the featured rodents have the cord around the neck. The bamboo would keep the critter from gnawing at the cord, so it would be stuck. The traps didn't look well anchored either. all of those rodents would have been strong enough to have dragged those traps awkwardly away.

You cannot trap the whole body of rodents like that unless you put it in there the trigger mechanism is sensitive slight movement will set it on and then they catch it in the half body i doubt about it
