Create Split Typography Effects in After Effects | Tutorial

I've been seeing this typography effect on a daily basis. I'm calling it the Split-Stack typography effect. This is where you take a title and repeated it vertically. However, every duplication is cut off and smaller than the previous. So in this After Effects tutorial, we're going to take a dive at this typography effect. It's very easy and something you can use to increase your library of motion graphic techniques!

Nice tutorial as always, great technique. I would make that loop at the end maybe slightly different, I would make pre comp like you, enable time remaping on layer, put loop out expression on time remap and play with it. Keep up the good work.

Great Work! So cool! But I have a problem when I move the text and do the animation, then when I apply the mask it also animates with the movement of the text and does not stay fixed in the site. How can I make the mask not move? Thanks!!

The timecode? Yeah, I just lay out the time in the description. Check the description and you'll see how it's typed. It was a new KZbin feature like a couple of months ago.
