We require more tutorials on 3D projection covers more images because this is a really a very good script and also the only one on the market but easy and simple tutorials. Thank you.
Damn that looks cool as hell. I need to try something like this.

I agree with the commenters. The plugin is very interesting, but the tutorials are incomprehensible and chaotic. There is no tutorial explaining the basics clearly.

You never show prepping the image and erasing the foreground objects which is strange because it’s a huge part of the process, I’d argue that it’s actually the most important part, yet every video shows this part magically already done.

Hey buddy. If u look into VIDEO FX AND 3D FX youll find cutting things up in photoshop is THEEEEE most easiest part of the process. There are tons and tons of photoshop tutorials on cutting things out. Using pen tool, marquee tool, erasure tool. U could even do it in AE using pen/path tools.

I completely agree with you. It's not about spending extra time explaining the "obvious" or what "other tutorials already covered." It's about keeping consistent with the title that has been given to this video. After reading the title, I would expect it to cover (at the very least) a brief explanation of the process of generating a clean plate (perhaps a time-lapse). Then give the viewers the option to skip ahead if it's too easy. Otherwise change the title to something like "Advanced Parallax in AE."

It's a cool plugin, but I have to rewatch these tutorials over and over again. I always miss the 'WHY' you do things... You're doing things but don't explain why. Are there any tutorials actually made by users instead of the developer?
@indiosbravos Жыл бұрын
Same here, I'm having a hard time understanding the tutorial, I think he needs to do a live tutorial like what andrew kramer from videocopilot is doing and interact to the audience instead of pre-recording it and adding the voice later because you tend to miss a lot of stuff with that kind of method or much better hire an english native speaker

I think many beginners need to learn Photoshop & After Effects before diving into this Plugin. There are many moving parts and you have to know all of them to achieve this fake 3D look. Learn how to cut things out in photoshop, learn how to import layered Photoshop files into after effects, learn how to place 2d layers in to 3d space. If not, you're not going to understand what this man is talking about. I've been using most of the Adobe suite for 20 years now and I understand everything this man is saying. Please learn the basics of Photoshop and After Effects before using this plugin. Trust me. Bless!!

Was going to say the same! He might be quite experienced and creative but disorganised at explaining what he is doing.
@armondtanz3 жыл бұрын
@@nesslange1833 yes. His technique is to just do the job and talk over it. I dont like that approach. Needs to do a build up. Stop and explain why/where/how.... it will backfire. If u dont listen to feedback u are doomed!!!

Cool idea, but why not just learn Blender and do this in 10 min using real 3D... Good tutorial though!
@onceuponatime8003 жыл бұрын
Blender is free software therefore there is no support for it and very few tutorials. I heard Blender is great. But I'd rather learn Maya where I know how to get support from Autodesk. I do not understand that some studios who seek 3D artists require them to know Blender. Can't these studios afford Maya or 3DS Max or Houdini licenses?
@Maxneo40k3 жыл бұрын
@@onceuponatime800 Actually, the Blender community is quite large and has many artists who do free tutorials online. Some artists working in game development have even started using Blender in their workflow.

This tutor gives every appearance of being a non-American actor impersonating a North American. I realise the main market of aescripts + aeplugins' products is America, but presumably you wish to sell to sell to the rest of the world too? Above all my complaint is this tutor's delivery is stilted, disconnected and unsettling. Online educating is an art, not merely a mercantile endeavour. In my view there are very few English speaking educators of digital post production currently working internationally. Two educators of merit are John Dickinson and Andrew Devis. Please consider employing either person, and ask them to undertake in-depth, well thought through, simple to understand tutorials on your behalf. Until then I will not purchase this product.
