I loved it when you duplicated the pink llama layer to make a lighter one, then merged them! what a great effect, thank you

*Pauses video. Heads to Skillshare. Saves class. Restarts video.* I have definitely gotten my money’s worth from Skillshare. I’ve used it to learn , Illustrator, Procreate, prepping artwork for digital…..so much more! Can’t wait to try out the process you are sharing in this video!

This is amazing! I left a bit of a long, gushing comment on your Facebook earlier so I’ll be brief here a simply say thanks for all you do. You are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Met, you don’t know how happy your videos make me, you make these programs easy, for me, and I appreciate it. I am going to try this. I get discouraged, but you make art fun and possible. I am too much of a perfectionist, which is why I get so discouraged, and I am not really familiar with a lot of these graphic art programs. I don’t have procreate, but I am just learning how to use Vectornator, and, maybe, I can do some of this in there.

I know the feeling, art made me feel so frustrated for so many years. I think for me, in this case, it was just finding that one teacher that got through to me and I could see what I can do. Also- taking time to literally take classes for hours and days, to gather all that info and use methods a teacher showed, on another teacher's course. Vectornator ?? Never heard of it, but will sure check them out !!

Another amazing video!! Being new to your channel, I feel like a kid in candy store who can’t decide which candy she wants to eat first lol

ohhh I always wanted to be a candy store LOL If you're new here, maybe hop on a live chat and "meet" the community ? we have one going on in few minutes, though the topic is a bit more drama than my usual videos... kzbin.info/www/bejne/baHXmYl3pqiFq6s

Hello Mey Another great informative video. You used Procreate to make all these designs. Could you have done the same with Clip Studio Paint? I'm new to designs and I think using a tablet to do what you did in this video is easier than using software like affinity designer on a laptop using a mouse. And I'm not sure which software to choose between Procreate and Clip Studio Paint? Can we do the same thing on the 2 software? Is there one that is easier to pick up for a beginner? Here is a video idea: a comparison between Procreate and Clip Studio Paint. Happy Holidays

For faster coloring, you can take a smooth brush and outline the shape and make sure it’s closed and then simply drag the color and drop it into the shape. Then do your outline on a new layer.

I know :) I do that in other designs. But with this style I really like the gentle texture created by the acrylic, as well as enjoy the process of the deleting of the lines :) I sometimes like the faster way, but this feels more fun to do :)

Oh I forgot to ask, is there a place we can buy those brushes if we are already advanced at procreate? Thanks so much for the video.

She mentioned they were available through a Brenda Baker skillshare class so you would probably have to ask Brenda Baker if she sells them separately.

I tagged Brenda's KZbin channel here, so you can ask her if she's selling them outside of the skillshare class

Hello do we create separate Etsy shop for each of our niches? Is that allowed under one account? Thanks!
@LisaOliverauthor2 жыл бұрын
Hi Aisha, apparently if you have a separate email address you can create a second Etsy store perfectly legitly with it, using your same payment and banking information but setting up the second store for another niche. I am not sure if that applies to more than one, but I have heard of other youtubers that have more than three shops or more, so I imagine that would work for you :)
@MeyTribe2 жыл бұрын
You can have, if I'm not mistaken, up to 2 Etsy shops at a time, and you need to state in each of them that you own another + link. Also, it really depends on your niches. Having tshirts for camping and tshirts for being vegan- can be on the same store... But rude joke text tshirts, and floral curtains- less.

Thank you both

Be careful when tracing pictures from the internet because pictures are also copyright. There are some public domain websites like Unsplash where the pictures are free to use.

I took the original file from canva, and as per their license I could have just added text and placed on a shirt, I didn’t even need to change the llama… I’m very careful with copyright:)

Well, you can create very similar designs using photoshop, CSP, and many other softwares- as I said in the video. There are about 40 softwares you can use to create this style of graphics.

I´m using Autodesk Sketchbook and it also worked super for me ( with Grafic Pad Gaomon PD1561), the only thing i want to have too are these bautifuf brushes. I try to recreate them for Autodesk, but its not so easy^^

@@aibusiness2501 creating brushes would be much esier on photoshop not autodesk I think
