Hi from Phoenix.... After I watched the video twice ... I finally figured what I was doing wrong. Made 2 of these and they came out perfect. 6x6 papers are wonderful as you can make many 1x11/8 squares. They look really nice.. TFS 😂

Hi Karen and Tim, another great show, thank you! *hehe* now, as you were showing the cards, at 9:56, you show a card using the "Sweet Citrus" bundle, and I loved that design of the card. I was about to start to make a birthday card, and when I saw it I thought, yes, that design is nice and simple, so I used it as a template. The front flap, with the lemon DSP on it, is a slightly different shape, but it is basically the design. So, thank you to the person who made that card and for the inspiration, and thank you to you, Karen, for show us. I shall post my card in your Facebook group. This is the best hack for creating a perfectly aligned background star for the Pinwheel Cards. I won't make them any other way; it's #FASTnFAB ! TSM for this tutorial for the Star Grid Template. You are certainly the Queen of Pinwheel Cards, and I have enjoyed all your videos on them. I first noticed the Star Grid last month on Anna Helman's channel. She was using it in the Stamperatus as a wreath builder. I was working on Pinwheels at the time, and instantly recognized that it was perfect as a Pinwheel Star Grid Template. Now, you have this tutorial showing how to make one and how easy the process is! No stamp platform needed. We can all go Pinwheel Crazy now! 💕

If you had an appropriate sized square die, you could cut your background squares out of the card base layers to conserve cardstock. They may even have stitching lines around them!

My dad had a problem with the neighborhood squirrels feasting on his tulips. He planted cloves of garlic close to the tulips and it helped to discourage their dining habits. He also got hair clippings from a nearby beauty parlor to make his garden less appealing to some of the wildlife.
