This guided meditation is designed to create a friend that is always there for you. Together you will go on an adventure and then design a safe place just for the two of you. Whenever you’re feeling lonely, you can return to this place.
We all feel lonely at times and need somebody to talk to. But nobody knows you better than you know yourself.
This might seem odd, but that’s only because it’s unusual.
Benefits of having an imaginary friend as an adult -
Research has shown that it is actually helpful to talk to yourself. There is already a voice in your head, so you might as well give it boundaries and structure. Then use it as an outlet to express how you feel and get yourself talking.
This is something we naturally do as children that we get talked out of as adults to fit into society. Though it might seem strange to do this out loud in public. In the privacy of your own home is a different story. Don’t let anybody tell you what’s normal. We all live in our own You-niverse. You don’t have to believe me.
