producers are the people who give the money to the production company..... so they can "produce" the film... they are basically the people who fund a film besides the film studio. kind of like a kickstarter. it's a studio who is the one who choses whether or not they want to create a film or show.... and have their name on it and give their ad revenue, equipment and studios etc to make said film.
