you can get a similar effect by using the elastic bands postal workers always drop after posting your mail through the door. wrap them around an acylic block & use different size bands.

I like the use of the foam strips for the inking. I tried the wrapped rubber band technique a few times but they never turned out as I thought they should and I was very disappointing. This is a much better and crisper outcome.
