This probably the best roller set that I’ve seen on KZbin. So many helpful tips about placement, and I say this as a seasoned roller setter myself. I get so irritated when I see people just throw in rollers with no thought to doing it neatly and cleanly. Thanks, I’ve liked and subscribed!

That looked really nice. People resort to curling irons too much, using rollers is probably a lot less strenuous on the hair and it gives the root more volume

You should have done this as a wet set and I think that you would have really gotten the results that you really wanted. It came out well but you are so point on placement like when I went to beauty school in the 60s and we were setting hair with magnetic rollers. Most people who use heated rollers just put them in just so they can get body. They don't care for that perfect generic set look anymore. This took me back I remember that every set we did in school was always perfect because it was done off a setting chart and all the students work came out the same.

Hey! The technique is the same - but you can be a bit more flexible - and use bigger sections - sometimes it is easier to do it not looking in the mirror, so if you get a bit confused when you’re putting in the rollers, turn away from the mirror and do it just by feel… It is actually much much much easier!

Hi Julie - thanks for your question... I use the curl creme after, to tame flyways! You can get a great creme from Boots, it's bright pink, cheap and effective!
