Created To Create: Christian Artists

Dear Congregation Lion of Judah,
Ephesians 2:10 says for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. One of the beautiful legacies of having been created by God is that he has imbued us, his creation, with the same creative spirit. You don’t need to look very far to notice God’s creativity.
We are beginning a series profiling Christian creatives and to kick off our series we are featuring two artists, Alice Drew, ceramicist and painter, and Deidre Tao, painter. They share with us what it means for them to love Jesus and love creating art, and how the union of those two passions enriches their creative expression.

Efesios 2:10 dice: "Porque somos hechura suya, creados en Cristo Jesús para buenas obras, las cuales Dios preparó de antemano para que anduviésemos en ellas".
Uno de los legados hermosos de haber sido creados por Dios es que Él nos ha imbuido con el mismo espíritu creativo. No necesitas buscar muy lejos para notar la creatividad de Dios.
Estamos comenzando una serie que perfila a creativos cristianos. Para iniciar esta serie presentamos a dos artistas: Alice Drew, ceramista y pintora, y Deidre Tao, pintora. Ellas nos comparten lo que significa amar a Jesús y amar el crear arte, y cómo la unión de esas dos pasiones enriquece su expresión creativa.
