I'm really impressed you've identified that an open cross-section is far more susceptible to torsion than a closed cross-section. That's really clever design and shows that you put a lot of thought in your projects.

@@Irishriden2005 What do you mean exactly? A closed cross-section (like a pipe pipe) has a higher resustance against torsion than other open cross sections (I beam, C beam, ...). Hope this helps.

If you're not a carpenter, this guy is very skilled in: *Woodworking *sealant work *welding *concrete work *video editing Which are all individual high paying jobs on their own at this level. This man has real talent and is also a hard worker and for that, I salute him (sorry for bad english)

I would not have anticipated the twisting problem, either. However, the gussets and boxing-in of the I-Beam were something I thought about too. It's not every day I get to see someone make such an interesting piece from structural steel and concrete. This is exceptionally creative. Well done.

Tens of thousands of dollars in tools, nearly welding a set of Knipex pliers, along with the fancieest silicone spreading tool I've ever seen, but when you pulled on it at 13:47, that's the point in the journey where it was all worth the expenses put into it along the way. Beautiful piece.

To avoid the little holes in the concrete top, you could spray on a thin layer of ultra-fine concrete onto the bottom and sides of the form. Then put in the rebar, followed by the regular concrete. Also to make the concrete stronger, you can add fibers. This would remove the need for so much rebar reinforcement. Check out Modustrial Maker's videos. He's a master of concrete slabs and furniture. And he sprays on the outer layer of concrete, for the ultra smooth surface effect with no air bubbles. If you don't want to purchase the concrete sprayer, then you can just manually pack it in tightly by hand, onto the bottom and sides of the form.

I think he wanted this effect, because he vibrated it on the underside, if he wanted to have an icy effect he just had to vibrate it with a vibrating needle through the liquid concrete and the result was identical. 👌👌🙏🙏

For plastics, brass, alike, get yourself a set of cheap drills, cheap as cheap gets without being U shaped drills, and using a synthetic ruby stone (cheap on fleabay and alike) dull the cutting edge until under a light, you can see a sliver of silver where the edge was, and round the drill's tips. When done right, it won't grab the materials anymore, but still have enough to drill just fine.
