I love this post. I have a question. What is that third icon for underneath the edit icon on the right hand side of the canvas workspace program? I don't have that icon on my program. I see it also underneath the freehand tool on the left side. I have never seen them before. Eager to learn.

Thank you so much :-) The third icon along is the Rhinestone Kit icon which is an addon product that Brother offer. I have more information on the Rhinestone kit here - www.createwithsue.com/activating-the-rhinestone-kit-scan-n-cut/ It will go through all the features of the kit.

So unfortunate that it seems that glyphs can not be accessed on newer Mac computers for the SDX225 machine as Brother's True Type Font converter file WILL NOT WORK....

The downloaded version of Canvas Workspace should be working on a MAC ok. It is quite simple to add glyphs in that version. Let me know how you go with that version. Here is more information about the two versions. www.createwithsue.com/which-canvas-workspace/

@@CreateWithSueandScanNCut Thank you so very much for taking the time to quickly respond to my concern. I really appreciate you for sharing your content. Sue, I did so much research on this and I actually did try to download the Font Converter file, but as you can see on your Brother Solutions Center(BSC) link, only CM model machines are listed. My machine is an SDX model and my computer operating system is the Mac Sonoma ver. 14. The SDX model machines are not listed in the BSC as available to download the converter file, only the CM models. I finally spoke with a Brother Customer Support representative and after numerous inquiries, she informed me that the converter file is not available for my machine☹...needless to say, for what it's worth, I addressed this issue in my Brother customer support survey. This is unbelievable and Brother needs to work on this so that ALL scanNcut owners can access fonts/glyphs on their computers for use in Canvas Workspace. Thank you again so kindly for trying to help..🤗

Why do you use color if the brother scan and cut is not a printer

This is a great question. There are benefits for adding color and having no fill. The no fill is great to be able to see the actual cut lines. This can be a huge bonus. To add color provides the opportunity to view your design as it might look. It clearly identifies which pieces might be cut from a different color, and if you save as a CWPRJ file (save as) in the downloaded version it retains the colorings and any additional design pieces you might want to keep for future alterations of that design. A big benefit for me is that it makes the design clear and easy for me to show you the finished results. 🙂

Oh, and I nearly forgot to add that if you have one of the addon activation kits installed you can print to PDF. For example the Print to Cut feature. www.createwithsue.com/canvas-workspace-print-to-cut/
