I created a pair of hobbit feet from water shoes and vinyl clown feet. I used Tim's method and the Bloodline paints. I had never airbrushed in my life, but these paints are very forgiving. Just make sure you really dilute them before the splattering, and if the splatter is noticeable, then it's not thin enough. It really created a depth I never thought possible. I am thrilled with the results. Thank you so much for this.

I am trying to bump up my paint set game. I am stuck on the fence to be honest with another mask paint on the market..which I am trying to buy some new paints this week as of tonight I am just window shopping...but I do see the price is awesome for these paints and the sets. there is no need to add any or extra latex right? always trying to save my latex for my mask creations. any info about adding anything to start painting or is it pour and go?..I do paint by hand without any airbrush kit "yet"..anyways I most def have to look into this Createx paint.

Bloodline are part of Createx's Illustration Colors line, which are water-based acrylic colors, creatextech.com/assets/pdf/tds/Illustration-Colors-TDS.pdf. For painting latex, start by applying one or two medium coats of 5092 Adhesion Promoter as an adhesive foundation over which paints can be applied. creatextech.com/assets/pdf/tds/7040-5092-TDS.pdf. How much "dry" time between spatter coats?

Depends. Temperature, humidity, spray environment have a big affect on drying times, as does material build-up and technique. Best practice is to allow paint to dry tack-free before applying the next coat. Working in light coats and use of moving air to assist drying greatly improves drying times. Thank you.

The adhesion promotor works perfect on leather and rubber.. al my custom last longer after spraying it on the parts i want to paint

5092 will work, however our best adhesive coating for leather are UVLS Clears, createxcolors.com/scenix-mural-theme-paint/uvls-clears/index.html, which also work well onto rubber as does 7040 Adhesion Promoter. Thank you.

Always great seeing TG work. Is the 4013 the "safer" replacement for 4012?

Createx's goto thinner is 4011 Reducer. We've been phasing out 4012 due to toxicology regulations and that its doesn't work well with our urethane-resin products such as UVLS Clears. 4013 is a new isopropyl alcohol thinner that works well, especially in more humid conditions. 4013 works excellent, a bit faster compared with 4011 but not as aggressive as 4012. The main reason 4013 not our goto thinner is its flammable. Thank you.

Can I use this on a silicone phone case and how would you clean it I can't get anything to work it just cracks and breaks and won't stay on there

Createx paints are water-based acrylic and urethane resin coatings. Silicone is one of the only substrates we do not make an adhesion coating for. Thank you.

Do I need to mix latex with the paints?

Apply 5092 Latex Adhesion Promoter direct to the latex, then apply Bloodline paints. 5092 can also be mixed with colors as well, but the main technique is to apply 2 medium coats of 5092 as an adhesion coating direct to the latex, followed by paint. Thanks. autoborne.com/adhesive-clears

These are acrylic paints I thought u had to use Laytex paints on rubber mask because acrylics dry up and crack ?
