I am an artist Nd i have done fine arts so I am saying there are not only 2 departments : paintings and applied . There r painting, applied arts , sculpture , art history , print making , museology , pottery etc. another thing BFA is not equal to BEd . One has to do BEd even he wants to become art teacher . The examples you showed to say this is applied arts are not relevant . Applied arts is basically commercial art : it includes marketing poster , product designing , graphic painting etc.

Very nice, at least you try to give information about fine arts, my son please study more in fine arts because lots of subject are there. who have patience to struggle then for them OK otherwise who is need instant to make money and become rich then this course not for them, yes who will go for applied art or commercial art for them scope are there in market. But in professional way you will get satisfaction but not money, this is not problem of fine art course, this is problem of our country India. Because our Government always appreciate to other country art and artists, they are forgoting in India and Indian artist. But In India ek se bodke ek Artist he, lekin Bina koi help Bina koi coparation se financially bohut pche he hamara Indian Artist. Art is my life😭❤️and whenever i try to convince my family bout bfa they say..🙂☹️There's no any profit in doing it, there's no scope..😭 i love sketching and i want to learn bout this more nd more i wanna know everything bout painting 😓😓...but family want money even they didn't think that by doing this, you will get experience tho.. And we know it, How much better we can do in that field which we want to do with fully concentration ❤️❤️but the fact is in our family or people's mind is that there's is no scope ahead in bfa or There would be no benefit in future tho.. and people's question is __ how would you earn after doing bfa ? And if we replied __we'll do commission works, teaching, open our own institute or academy,etc. They say against us..No One wants to learn it, parents want only studies from their children,We will not have enough money to open your Academy...etc.💘💘💘💘 And I'm just confined to my house.😭😭😭

Being an artist, completed MFA. Their is no 2 types of art. This is absolutely wrong. Regarding BFA, most common streams in BFA are like VISUAL ART: In simple words all klinds of sketches, drwaings, n paintings. APPLIED ART: It's related to print media. Like advertisement, printing press, or printing industry or corporation. Or any kinds of printing related art matters. GRAPHICS/ANIMATIONS: I think almost everyone knows that what is graphics or animations. Graphics are basically used to shows in reality forms. Eg: In krishh movie, hero can able to fly or can do whatever all the forms of graphics. Animations basically used in the fantasy worlds like AVATAR movie, Mowgli, all cartoons n animated series. Graphics n Animations are all about visual effects n abilities. SCULPTURE: The most uncommon stream is Sculpture. Here people can learn how to create figures in phisically 3dimenstional form (not in visual form). Here, figure is not just about human figures, but every figurative aspects which every sculptors have to learn. Every different University has different syllabuses. Likely, Visual art, applied art, Mural, Sculpture, Graphic Art, Design (Textiles/ Ceramics), History of Arts, etc... ** ( Incomplete knowledge is more harmful than zero knowledge. )

I like your effort to do such a video but some informative edits: there are not only 2 major like painting or applied . There is painting , sculpture, art history, print making, mural and applied arts. And definition of applied art u gave was so wrong ! Applied art simply consists of commercial art like poster designing, caricature, all sort of designing aspect !
