I immediately thought of Singapore's zoo when I saw your thumbnail. They have some excellently designed enclosures and most of the zoo can be explored in Google maps, so has served as an inspiration for me on many occasions

(4:00) What you're tying to describe by "clipping" is called plane-fighting. (most commonly Z-fighting, as it's the most popular axis where this happens) Where 2 objects are the exact same distance away from the camera and it basically can't decide what to render. This is because of small fluctuations in all the floating point numbers being added while rendering and is different every frame rendered.

The habitat turned out really nice. The shimmering effect of two pieces at the same spot is called "x-, y- or z-fighting" btw, depending on the affected axis.

You should check out the polar bear exhibit at the San Diego zoo. While there, we were underneath and the polar bear in the exhibit was doing backflips under water.

This is such an AMAZING habitat! It really feels like a real zoo, but obviously this is better than a real zoo! Your imagination is the limit. Love it, underwater viewing areas are one of my favorite things in this game and pigmy hippos are too. It looks really lush, a problem I have is that when I make lush habitats the plants usually block the view. Cant wait for more stuff to come

In my opinion the water section could be a little deeper as it is barely deep enough to cover the adult pygmy hippos, but nonetheless the habitat looks great

Just WOW!!!! How long did it take you to decorate and build this way? I am also new to the game, but have ZERO patience! I want to build like this from the first day and i know it´s impossible. But that´s what i am struggling with. Especially when it comes to games i can design in! I am one of these people who rarely never get´s satisfied with the work i´m doing 😞 I REALLY wanna have fun with these games, but the expectations to myself are ALWAYS so high because i wanna do it right and awesome from the first try :-( So sometimes these games become a struggle for me 😞 I wish i could relax and just.... well... play....
