I loved the way you explained it carefully. Amazing tutorial. I had to try this out but I noticed I can't connect the null to the point of path and I have no idea what the issue is. I would be grateful if you can help out.

Make sure you use the "points to path" shape. Then just connect the position of your nulls to the position of the individual points of your path.

Can i manipulate vertices of a shape in cavalry? Just like link paths to nulls & link nulls to paths​@@marvelousdecay

great introduction and overview. I wonder if there isn't a way to keep this setup procedural, since cavalry seems supports falloffs and seems to have extended spline features...I think Ill give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration

@@marvelousdecay yeah I'm new to the software so I thought I'd ask but there doesn't seem to be a "just plug the null's scale to " solution 🤔 surprisingly few online resources for this really cool piece of software, even searching the web yields lots of results about the military unit haha...

@@4.0.4 yeah it's a small software company and the software hasn't fully caught on yet, but it's incredibly powerful. Reach out to the creators on twitter. They are very friendly and incredibly helpful. They might be able to point you to the right direction.

I'm gathering my strength to dive into this tut, but before we go, maybe you can ease my mind: is there a reveal original image with stroke option, as we used to learn before. way before, in AE. Dont get me wrong, I want to try this method also, I'm just eager to know this
