Welcome back to my channel. I really loved creating this video. It's going to be part of a series so as I build my new wardrobe and buy in the new pieces I need and that are relevant to my lifestyle I will let you know. As you know my passion is fashion so I really hope you enjoy it.

Try corn starch and a stuff brush . But old fashion lye soap and a stuff brush works too.

I've started going throughout my clothes too because they are just tight now some I bought some everyday clothes dresses in black and navy and do have a few blue jean dresses that be worn as layering pieces and vest in different tones. I bought black rib knit match set joggers,a black cargo skort,tan jeans relaxed fit,and 6 different loose fit leggings witch go with all of my tops . And now its summer so I'm going through all cloth and have made a few people happy with a few brand name summer shorts and jeans and a pair of hay dud shoes. And jeans 3 more friends and matching tops. And a few more too go through.

💙You did a GREAT Job !! …. Casual smart and comfortable sound like your three style words !! I did similar at the beginning of 2023 you are so right I don’t wear dressy coats wool coat look fab but I’m in the car all the time so trench coats work well for me ….. capsule wardrobes are very individual… my style words are classic, casual and minimal, ❤

Hi I’m very much like you about clothes and always trying to look good every day.it’s hard sometimes when I don’t feel very good,but I do try. The other thing is your wallpaper I love it❤ I’m a plant lover and have 50 house plants in my little bungalow,there all real ones not plastic. And I couldn’t stop looking at the wallpaper which had quite a few plants on that I have 😂😂. Looking forward too your next video.

New subscriber here. You've inspired me to go through my wardrobe and create a Spring capsule wardrobe. I have so many lovely clothes, yet never have a thing to wear. My goal is to put together 10 outfits "tried and true" that I know for sure fit and look nice together. As I was watching this I realized that I often buy things that catch my eye but that really don't fit my lifestyle as I work from home. I'm to work on have those 10 and keep the linen blouses or trousers ironed to be able to reach for at a moments notice.

I just found your channel, and I can really relate - I used to be a teacher, and I now work from home. I need to adapt my clothes to my lifestyle and get dressed in an appropriate way each day. I have also just watched MM's video, and I chose the same colors that you do 😊 My favorite outfit was your striped T, jeans and sneakers combo. My least favorite was the patterned dress. I also love that kind of dress, but another style video said that patterned fabric looks dated. I reluctantly admit that she might be right. MM had her patterns on the RHS of her rail. Thankfully, stripes are a basic! I am sure that patterns will come back next round. I hope so! Thanks for being so honest and sharing your process. I really enjoyed your video ❤

Really enjoyed the video Julie, I had also watched Melissa’s capsule video and a similar one early in the summer and am really being strict with myself when buying stuff. I am also making sure if something is not right when I get it home, I return it to the shop, rather than hope it will look better next time I try it on ( never does and I’ll have lost the receipt)

Great video Julie I too am in the process of trying to create a capsule wardrobe. Your video has spurred me on to add another couple of items to the donation pile. These were I’ll keep it just in case pieces but as I haven’t worn them in at least 2 years don’t really think the just in case occasion is going to arise do you x

I think we're guilty of buying clothes for the lifestyle we hope we'll have. For a very long time, I had a very limited wardrobe, of older things and some hand me downs. When I could afford it, I may have gone overboard. Although I wore those clothes and loved them, I am now at a time when it's just too much. I'm tired of the struggle of not enough storage. So, I've started a MAJOR clean out. I've made four trips to Goodwill to donate clothes. And I still have more than I'm comfortable with, but it's becoming more manageable. Any tips for someone who has too many Christmas decorations? Photos?😮 I do have two formal dresses; bought for two cruises; and those I will keep. One of them makes me feel like a princess!

I also watched Melissa's video earlier in the week and as a result I am planning a clear out at the weekend - so yes, the glam fancy 'fantasy life' clothes are going. We all do it, don't we? 🤷‍♀️🙈 Bye bye high heels... Have you thought of trying Bam for T shirts and layering pieces? Not cheap but all made from bamboo, so they are super-soft, sustainable, wash brilliantly and last ages. Your outfits all looked gorgeous and your new trainers are fab. ❤ Have you thought of trying your Cotton Traders jacket with the White Stuff dress? Yes, I subscribe to the personal styling and, like yourself, watched with much interest the capsule wardrobe vlog. I've really enjoyed your vlog and think you've done a really good job and at least now when you purchase something you will know it's something you really need and you know you will wear it.
