Creating a Custom Layout in Moodle

hi sir I would like to ask for help in customizing the course_card template. I want to add a variable, such as an array of topics for each course. I have tried overriding the web service get_enrolled_courses_by_timeline_classification, but it does not allow me to add custom variables and returns an "Invalid JSON" notification cuz the output is validated. Is there any method to help me achieve this?

How do you show a block (like course overview block) in the mustache file. I assume maybe we need to pass the block from somewhere in custom layout.php file? I mean you can see the Timeline and Calender block by default in moodle boost theme, how to also show course overview block. I am playing with mydashboard layout.

Hi, By default this block appears in the central content block on the Dashboard but can be moved to the left or right column. Also from version 3.7 onwards, the 'course overview block' has been updated as 'myoverview' block. Incase still you want to use this block in any of your custom layouts, then you can simply call the body of the block provided with the instance id of the block.
