Creating a fully-managed Kubernetes GitOps platform with Argo CD [Webinar]

In this hour-long hands-on lab, we will set up a repo to contain the environment configuration, create a Kubernetes cluster, and provision an Argo CD instance. Then use Argo CD to deploy Applications from the repo to the cluster. Finally, we will demonstrate the auto-sync and auto-heal functionality of the Applications.
Ultimately, you will have a Kubernetes cluster, with Applications deployed using an Argo CD control plane.

Looks like the same amount of work if it was self hosted … after 4-5 copy/paste cmds, it doesn’t feel automated anymore

Thanks for the feedback! The aim of the webinar was instead to show how to quickly build a managed GitOps platform rather than a fully automated one. Although it could be done by using our Terraform provider or having fun with the API, CLI, etc. For some use cases having a managed Argo CD in the cloud just does the trick, especially when a) managing Argo CD in-house distracts teams from their core business or b) complex use cases where companies would have to do more than 4 or 5 cmd to set up networking, service mesh, credentials, permissions etc (all the things that they don’t have to take care of because of Akuity's architecture).
