Is there a way to make your own unique animations, or are you restricted to the presets?

I love how awesome Reallusion products are. I'm tired of ToonBoom and other software where you have to do everything manually. If Reallusion makes a 2D character Rig maker, that we can port to Cartoon Animator, Harmony or Moho, that will be a game changer. And if you add some AI magic, that will be even cool. Simple describe your character, it will generate the full rig with all the body parts cut out and ready to go!

I love your tutorials on Cartoon Animator 5! Could you please create a tutorial on how to animate the wheels of a vehicle? I'm particularly interested in learning how to make the wheels rotate realistically as the vehicle moves across the screen. Any tips on syncing the wheel rotation with the movement of the vehicle would be really helpful.
@reallusion3 ай бұрын
Hi @muhammadamjad5818, You can try using Motion Pilot to integrate the car's movement with the rotation of the wheels. Please refer to the 2:28 mark in the following video for guidance: courses.reallusion.com/home/cartoon-animator/object-animations?v=wave-motion-in-motion-pilot-|-cartoon-animator-5-tutorial

Hi.. could you guys upload a tutorial video on pop up book style animation in cartoon animator
@reallusion4 ай бұрын
Hi @MrBighnaraj007, You can apply an elastic motion dynamic effect to any imported object, allowing you to customize your own composite prop with combined physics effects. For an overview of the elastic motion feature, visit this page: www.reallusion.com/cartoon-animator/2d-animation-prop.html. Tutorials on elastic motion are available here: courses.reallusion.com/home/cartoon-animator/object-animations.

I may have watch it twice and not understood it, can someone help me out? Is it true that you need to split the parts of a prepared character before using the template, and then use the template afterward? Actually I have a suggestion, why don't you let the software build in ai text to generate the character, and then use the ai to bind the bones, and then in the second step, use the text to make the ai generate different actions, I see that viggle ai can already use the text to generate different actions for the character, which can be more efficient when creating characters!
@1s_enough5 ай бұрын
Because AI uses motion as a whole to move, character segmentation is not supported yet, so this part still has to be done manually. But characters that speak automatically using AI lack detail in their mouths and eyes. Manual work has more advantages in that regard.
@shouyouo5 ай бұрын
@@1s_enough My current characters are all made using AI. Do I need to divide the parts and manually bind the bones after the production is completed? In fact, I have tried this before.
@MurielsAnimatedStories5 ай бұрын
@@shouyouoYes, you should have separate sprites for arms, legs, body, face, eyes etc. If your character isn't going to be animated a lot, you could also try creating a free bone character. This is where you attach bones only where you need movement.

@@MurielsAnimatedStories Do you have any tips on how to cut characters quickly?
@MurielsAnimatedStories5 ай бұрын
@@shouyouo I usually work on my ipad. I save the image in photos, and long-click the subject so I can save it as a cut-out. Then I erase the remaining pixels with Procreate. I'm less familiar with Photoshop, but I think you can also achieve this. Then I cut the image using the lasso tool in Procreate (PS also has this). Make sure the "joints" are round, so they can turn without showing square edges.
