Definitely could! I would use permanent vinyl on coasters unless you are purchasing the sublimation ready ones, those you could use iron-on and it would be really pretty ☺️

Why do you need to add a “template” then delete it?

You don't need to delete it, however if you leave it on the canvas Cricut will think you want to cut it. You could hide it instead ☺️
