Creating a level in a level

Guys, there is no ID to this level. This is only a preview of what the level will look like. Instead of having 3 block options, you will have 27, there will be an option to verify and upload the levels, replay them, go onto twitch mod level request streams, send your level, a rare event where nexus uploads your level to KZbin and a ton more. This level is like 1/10 done, and way too buggy to upload even a preview. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you mean to become mod on the level there’s no way to do that in 2.2 but it would be cool

@@LeoSquared You can, you can make a section with like a 6 digit number code where if all digits are correct (basically a password) then it gives you the mod rank. It would probably have to be on a cooldown after 3 incorrect guesses so that people can't spam it with random passwords until they get it right. It would also be a good idea to change it every month in case someone actually does manage to guess it.

ok so i know this is super early in development and this is probably too much feedback/ideas but.... this looks really good, but kinda annoying and clunky to use. i would suggest some sort of cursor system using 2p controls, which you definitely should be using if you aren't already. also maybe some sort of settings menu, again with 2p controls, where you can select your blocks, change the background and ground, and maybe toggle build mode on and off, as well as a whole bunch of customisation settings. no idea how someone would do this, but if the colour selection was a slider that would be pretty cool. with the cursor, you could also add things like smaller grid sizes for mini spikes and such and pretty much the entire edit tab with things like rotation and movement of misplaced objects. I'm gonna assume object deletion is already something you either have added or are going to add, but it could probably work off the same system aight I think that's it lol, definitely some things I'm missing tho also checkpoint saving (either the mod or in another 7 years when rob finally adds it to the base game) is probably gonna carry this thing so much XD

@@Jiffjeff7314 I would've added a cursor system by now if it werent for my main inspiration for this level, a level called "Geometry Dash" by GDVesuvius which has that exact system. Id kinda feel like I'm copying. I also want that feel that you (the player) are building it. Atm I am making an extra room with settings which currently already has a toggleable delete mode. I plan to be able to rotate these objects, maybe change the colour of them and more. Atm im happy with how the bg colour cycles between 12 options but I will add a ground colour option too. Tbh I intentionally left out mini spikes to avoid the hassle of making a mini grid, as that alone would take up a little under 1600 groups. I cant do anything about checkpoint saving but hope that it eventually gets added.

I have limited the object types you can place to 27 because I will not be able to scroll the level. Just the basic mechanic for placing blocks took me 391 groups. Most other blocks would be unnecessary with only a 17 by 23 space to place them.
