I am designing ab16th birthday card for my granddaughter, and I want the 16 candles to light up. Can this be done with that many lights of would it be better to use numbers and just have two lights?

Yes you would just run the copper tape without crossing in a continuous loop then add the led to the copper tape, you will need an extra battery though

lynn Chamberlain I think there are many cards you could add it to I’m thinking of doing a space theme for my son and adding a few. lights as stars - I would say anything that has a light source in the pic you could use xx

Yes but if you keep the leds in the same loop you may requires extra batteries, or they would be dimmer. However, if you connect them in parallel a new branch they should be fine.
