Yeah I grew up in the late 2000s so my team was always the avengers because of the Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes cartoon and the MCU. If I grew up in the 70s or 90s I’m sure it would’ve been X-Men

Not sad at all. Always takes something to get people into anything. Doesn’t just happen from nothing. Usually is comics or shows or movies. This current show is a so good and new fans only benefit us old fans

Loving this. Marvel Legends X-Men are the only ones I collect. When I had them on display I only used the villains

@@dantedisplays I only had the 90's and the Arcade X-Men teams. Rest are all X-Men villains, which were the only ones I displayed at the time. Really want the Astonishing X-Men team though...

Professor X Moira McTaggaret Rachel Summers Green Phoenix Arch Angel Revance I also do X-Factor and X-Force different from most Comic lineups. I go back to the Original interpretations. X-Factor as the 'Public Face' of Mutants, X-Force as the 'Lethal Strike Team'. Basically, all those willing to kill plus Kitty and Nightcrawler as scouts. It's also where the Custom is. An original creation, I gave an origin to. A handsome head on a Morph body. They got a better deal swapping out Morph for an Alpha Level Mutant with physical and mental abilities. I am willing to list my teams. I celebrated 30 years as a Collector 17 days ago. Sounds like I'm bragging, but that's not my intent.

Here's a tip, get a wad of cotton bind the back of the wad with tape and make the cotton slightly deep purple with whatever. Stick it to the wall with night crawler in the middle and bam you have a teleporting display. I just finished my line up and my god Jubilee was expensive but Psylocke was even more. I should have finished before the Xmen 97 cartoon started because costs of figures jumped up over night. I mainly stuck with legends figures with a few Target exclusives here and there and a few customs but man the team display is on point. the only one i bought that was 97 figure was cyclops but i spent an extra 50$ buying the love triangle head sculpts with a really super rare brown xmen leather jacket that i got so lucky to find man it looks gnarly. I also recommend the Iceman diamond select figure its beyond excellent. I think next year ill do Avengers. I also like to go on record saying bishop without his jheri curl is no bishop lol.

Also, if Hasbro had to make a new version of any x-Men character which would you choose? For me it’s Xavier we desperately need some kind of new version or rerelease

Casting Cave just put up a batch of custom heads and I picked one up. If you got $45 to spend I HIGHLY recommend getting one cuz they look 🔥 and usually sell out

I have 54 X-Men in 4 Teams and a small Mansion staff. Actually 53 and 1 custom. I then have a 20 member plus 1 Brotherhood, 7 +7 +3 Hellfire Club, and a cobbled together Sentinels Army.

This is unrelated to X-Men, but I have a Thor figure and I’m planning to get the Hank Pym and Wasp 2-pack. I was wondering how I should pose them.

So much you could do! You could have Thor flying swinging his hammer, or floating looking downwards all god like, or kneeling with his hammer against the ground, or standing tall alongside the rest of your Avengers if you’re not into dynamic displays. As for Giant-Man and Wasp, I’m too familiar so what I would do if I had those figures is look up classic comic book images and see what poses you can recreate

Beautiful seeing my X-MEN looking awesome as usual! I went on eBay and bought a fabric cape for STORM. Now she looks 100% more gorgeous! It's fabric with wire for posing 😮. It costs me about $20. Well worth it! Need Rogue, Jubilee, Morph,Cable, and Xavier. Maybe good guy Magneto figure! Glad to see you enjoying the hobby!😅
