I liked how the landscape developed so naturally at the laying down of the foil. Trees just popped up. I am 65 yo at the early stages of parkinsons deasease. Sewing has been my creative medium since 5 yo. I'm having a hard time spending much time at it because it requires so much movement. I'm trying to create a quilt for all the church children about 20. And blankets with their help for the homeless in our community.

Oh my! All kinds of fabulous textures here dear Sergio! So many beautiful layers of paint come peeking through and I love how you’ve blended the yarn pattern into this piece. You started ,coincidentally with umber coloured wool and created layers of lovely colours over it and gave it a final dabbing of umber! How fitting! You know the one thing that worried me was the air that gets trapped under the foil but it seems to get absorbed some how through the canvas? It did that with tracing paper too. I was very very careful not to wet that too much as it might burst! ‘Air today! Gone tomorrow!"😉💖beautiful building! I could live on the top floor! Is this a condo building Sergio or a boutique hotel? Just gorgeous architecture!😍

It was indeed a happy coincidence starting with umber-colored wool and finishing with a final dabbing of umber. I'm glad you like how the yarn pattern blends into the piece. Regarding the trapped air under the foil, it does indeed get absorbed through the canvas somehow. As for the building, the majority of the buildings have great penthouses and terraces. For your cement canvas, if you're having trouble getting it to stick, you might want to try the following tips: Make sure your canvas is properly primed before applying the cement. Be sure not to add too much water; otherwise, the cement will be too liquid. Apply the cement in thin layers, letting each layer dry before adding the next. I hope this helps!
