You start as a high school player. You played 12 games and based on how you play, you get ranked. You go to a basketball camp and play against top high schoolers. You played 4 games and the competition increases of decreases on how you play. Then, you start getting offers from D1, D2, D3, etc.. based off how you played. If you get no offers, the G-League would love you have you. In college you can choose your team that offered you a scholarship. You played 16 games and you lead your team to the College Championship. After that, you go to a high comp summer camp and must ball out to be a top 10 player. The top 10 are selected if you get picked, you do a 5 v 5 for 12 minutes. That boosts your stock. You get drafted or undrafted. The combine, pre draft workouts, then the draft.
