I love the h9000 and e-max sharing the same prime rack space. I have a eclipse And a upgraded e64 ultra in the same space. One day I will have a h9000 . Great sample library . Thanks for making this available

Criticism is fine. I think this needs to be recognized as an amazing tool and not a replacement for drum programming. I will definitely use this sometimes and do detailed drum programming sometimes. It depends on what you need…

Should music be made out of loops? No! But loops can be a great way to get an idea started, where you can remove the loop in the end. Also loops can be a great thing to build your original idea on top of, nothing wrong with that at all. The deadlines within film, games, and production music can sometimes be at the brink of ridiculous, so sometimes having these loops to get you going, can be extremely helpfull. Also on another note - Honestly if you have the exact same groove going from programming it yourself, when you could just have used the loops. Then you are just wasting time.

While you raise a fair point, May I ask if you have a problem with sampling in the first place? Or with midi editing? Both of these examples are shortcuts to not learning an acoustic instrument or going back and editing a performance that you didn’t get right in one shot. If you think about it, all of “programming” is a hack away from actual performance. And yet, if you embrace the evolution of computer-based music, it’s possible to make something truly unique and original- all by yourself. As Hans Zimmer says, treat the computer like an instrument and all of this falls under that.
