I always enjoy seeing your live work in progress on tracks. Like adding another high and low layer, which really added to the track. It helps give me more confidence when I do things like that and then question whether I’m doing the right thing or not. Cheers as always 👍🏻

Good to see you in person. Good example of layering. Love the way you summarise at the end, that is so good. I find bass presets made sounds to be played in the C4-C5 range frustrating for previewing. They'll just get skipped. It's like those that make them just have a dinky midi keyboard.

Thanks! Summarizing helps to bring it all together. I get your frustration with presets. It's important to tweak them to fit your needs.

@@adamellistutorials I mostly try and make my own patches in Serum but may use tweaked patches (they aren't really presets unless they come with the thing :) ) on other synths whose UIs I am less familiar with.

The audio starting point for mid bass has been a massive help for me, especially if you have the accompanying midi. Excellent as always mate 👍

You can just convent the audio into midi and then move the notes around to align it with your audio version.

@@MultiDisposition yeah good point. Not always the best result in fl but good shout 👍

Brilliant as always mate. What’s the plug in you used to make that mid bass sound like it was being sucked in and out? Sounded ace and gave texture and depth.

Any chance you could do a tutorial using the LOGIC stock compressors or Fabfilter compressor? They have more dials/knobs like Attack, Release etc to use
@adamellistutorials4 ай бұрын
They are the exact same mate. Just adjust threshold until you see -3dB of reduction on the meter. Don’t change anything else.
