Thank you for showing this! I love to see how other people are doing the air pruned beds and using them to grow trees. Sean and Akiva are awesome! 🤗💛🤗

HI KEITH IT LOOKS LIKE YOU MAY BE ABLE TO USE CLAMP ON PALLET FORKS ON THE TRACTOR BUCKET TO SLIDE UNDER THE “BOXES” TO MOVE AROUND LATER.
@GrowingABetterTomorrow5 жыл бұрын
Yes that's right. I do have a very heavy duty set of forks that clamp onto my loader bucket. Unfortunately their size make them impractical to maneuver and I can't see small object like these boxes when they are mounted on the bucket. Great idea thank you for your thoughts!

Kevin are those thornless black locusts?
@GrowingABetterTomorrow5 жыл бұрын
No they have thorns but not nearly as large as the thorned honey locust. Our thornless honey locust varieties occasionally produce thorned varieties. However I love them because of the variety of shades of yellow to green leaves. Each variety produces nectar and pollen at different weeks of the season.

Can you show us the results? Did you get any persimmon trees?
@GrowingABetterTomorrow2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the persimmon tree air pruning bed was not a success that year, primarily due to the excessive weeds that I failed to keep under control. Many of the seedlings got to be about 4 in tall before the weeds overtook them and I was negligent in caring for them properly. Great question and I'll be sure to show all of our successes as well as our failures in videos in the future. Thank you for the question.
