I have never heard anyone explain so perfectly as I completely relate to what she talks about in terms of having a childhood where you were focused on bigger things first. It was an a-ha moment in my life when I grasped this. There are pros and cons to childhood-origin coping/adapting. I think EQ comes from that. Eventually, we all grow from our abilities to grasp the realities of our lives and its lessons.

As a mother of two boys and two girls...I love this. We do need advocate for men. As a strong women, we need to raise ourselves to our fullest potential but it does not need to come on the heals of squashing our men. We can both rise together. Thank you Gabby!

Wow! so grateful to have found this and listened to it. I have replayed some of the sections. I think the very last piece about men was exactly where we need to focus some attention in our society over the coming years. Loved her comment about wishing she had a son but she related to the issue without that. I have long felt this to be important for our sons and the impact of Title IX was as she said positive for women but negatively impacted men. Many young men that would have had entry into non mainstream college sports couldn't due to this and that made an imbalance of opportunities

I thought it was really interesting when she was talking about how her size helps her move through the world and how she could relate well to women because she showed up as a guy. I've always felt that men were easy to talk to because I related to them from a more feminine power.
