I was expecting a time-lapse with commentary and instead got you speed running it in realtime like if it was a game. Absolute goat, I loved seeing your thought process and workflow.

Love step by step tutorials because you also show stuff that you normally wouldnt talk about (like setting the light bounces for example)
@yutahvision Жыл бұрын
I would definitely love to see more of these, you already broke the classic tutorial style by not explaining every little boring thing, going straight to the point. So working on something while saying out loud your thoughts and showing the mental process, is really interesting and i think one of the best way to learn. I prefer knowing why you've made something instead of how many times the light bounces off. So yea a big thanks as always Max for this knowledge^^

The fatigue in the mid-end part of the process is super relatable, and the satisfaction of making the colors pop in postprocessing. Good pace, fun to watch, good job!

i thought this would be long to watch but nope.. as an intermediate + user i loved to catch your way of thinking about your project and i realise i always overcomplicate logical simple things lol.. i'd also like to see same style of video on technique tips in something between 10 to 15 minutes.. maybe create a project and cut in several technical parts + thoughts even if not all buttons are explained ♥.

Sometimes I wonder why my scenes start to lag when I'm trying to make them as epic as yours, and then I look at your scene stats and it's 23million faces and 15GB VRAM! my PC would explode. 💀

I have razer 18 with RTX 4080 and i9 cpu, when I render and comes half way, it shows illegal address in CUDA queue copy from device (integrator shade surface integrator sorted paths arry prefix sum). do you know the reason?

Hey quick question. How do you get the workspace area on the bottom right? I'm new and can't seem to figure out how to get the window where it shows you the render as you edit. Love your work btw, it's very inspiring 🙏
@maxhayart Жыл бұрын
It’s just another 3D viewport in rendered view that has all the overlays turned off. If you click around you’ll figure out how to disable all the gui for one window 👍

is samples important? cuz i see not much of a different when i tried to render on 1024 samples vs 256 samples
@YakOfArt Жыл бұрын
It's mostly personal preference. Unless you need the shot to be super detailed and crispy, like a mechanical render, you can get away w rendering at 512 or less usually.
@kresnadial Жыл бұрын
@@YakOfArt ahh okay! so it only important for certain shot. like if i do a really close up shot, maybe i will need to increase the samples
