Yo, you can tick the 'Hide new edges' box in the Boole settings just in case of clean topology and fast viewport response (it can get messy sometimes). Anyways, thank you for amazing work! You just got a new subscriber. :3

I think this project is awesome :) Here is some constructive criticism: I think the 2d animation looks too static. I know that animation is hard and takes time, but it would look way better if the character would slide to the side away from the explosion and fall down for a second. This could show the impact of the event more realistically. Then the girl would struggle to stand up and run to the viewer out of view. It would look a lot more like a chase with only little detail added. Also dynamic is key :)

I recently just download this but it wouldn't work for me. Says there's a error every time I would start this up. I want to use this to create backgrounds and animation for my new series. how can I prevent this from happening? Man, move to Blender and you can combine 3D environment and 2D animation in one software and do it much faster!

The lines are not rendered with arnold, they are done using cinema 4ds sketch and toon shader

Brother could you create a yt tutorial series for like making backgrounds. Like the ghibli not too hardcore ghibli in b/wn the ghibli and toon must be 3d stylized type. Like alive course animation superhero show but, how to make the environment thats behind it, means thats behind that type of toons/ghibli/spiderversetype im not getting exact name, like if our sceen is sleeping on bed so how to model that toon type bed and the room. How to model backgrounds of toons. If its in school location how to model it if its a toontype car bike how to do that props stuff.

V-ray render can do this(Vraytoon effect), if I understand you right. I am not sure about Maya, I only use 3DS max. But it must be similar to Maya, probably.

you could use Photoshop for that ! create a new video timeline and import the video to use as a background :)

You may know what you're doing, Olof, but damn you kind of mutter or mumble a great deal. If you could annunciate your sentences I might actually learn what exactly you're trying to teach me. Even the CC had no idea at times what words you were trying to pronounce - not a good thing. Also, you might want to enlist the ability to zoom in certain areas of the screen so we can actually read the commands you are describing. In full window mode - I still couldn't read the tiny text. Aside from that, I did learn a few concepts watching your video. Sorry for the harsh criticism, but unless someone tells you these things, how will you improve your tutorials?
