Looks great. It gives it just a little more "racecar" look.

A lot of work done, a lot of work to be done. Will keep watching as you progress on. Good Luck!

Hopefully i have time to come check it out at LS Fest. I normally tune several cars there, and free time is difficult. I normally have the most on Thursday and Friday nights. Hope to meet you both.

@@SpyderGarage You show the process along with explaining the basic thinking, imagination by words with modifying the metal Monza hood to have the raised center cowl similar with the desired IMSA version for this tribute vehicle. Clearly You both have more skill within metal fabrication, development, modification, thus this approach within Your home shop produces this decently good looking result. With fiber-glass, fabrication skills similarly with carbon-fiber, the development or modification would be different along with the results too. Perhaps in the future, if those skills are desired to be developed, that process could be done with a fiber-glass or carbon-fiber hood. This relatively simpler modification, development could be within early development with the skills. if You have some interest within such development there are channels which show the development work, skills including Industry Garage - Street Bandito [Tim] which focuses upon carbon-fiber body parts and others along with some guidance and assistance by contact. Am looking forward to seeing the continuing development process with Your unique "Monzstrasity", IMSA DeKon Monza replica project along with its goal state for LS Fest, hopefully within its functional, operational, usable, even racing states. All The Best, Sincerely 🙂

Looks like a raised hood on a race car, perfectly functional. Nice work.

That cowl support might become a thing when the engine gets in and starts rattling things around. Are you going to do the hood scoop part in the middle that overlaps the cowl a little?
@SpyderGarage2 ай бұрын
@@jaredgarlock1594 possibly. Once we test fit everything then we’ll know if we need to. 👍🏻

You could have eliminated the cowl and made the hood longer, maybe if you have more time later it would be a cool touch

@@xozindustries7451 That was our original idea. May still have to do that based on how our intake fits. 🤷🏻♂️
