I feel like the number of plants could easily have been doubled (or tripled) for some serious tropical lushness. I would have loved to see some monsteras, pileas, and peperomias. Also, I want a bromeliad on that table for an extra pop of color! But definitely a huge improvement. I just wish there were some more green girls.

I just also think the number of plants could easily have been tripled and there would still be plenty of space for them. A multitiered plant stand would have worked really well, especially in front of the windows. And definitely longer/more plant shelves on the accent wall. I also would have loved some more personality with fun plant pots. Oh, and how cute would a swinging rattan egg chair on a metal stand have been? I bet the kids would have loved that! Again, a great video, I just think it could have had more of an impact.

Love the wallpaper and plants. Still, the couple said they have kids. With shoes. And the jungle was intended to honor the husband’s mom. This mud room has only one chair, no other “change shoes” seating (how about a bench?), barely a place for shoes, and no place for coats, hats, or towels. With little to no functionality this is pretty, but pretty weak. Sorry, this was an all show no go fail, AD…

There’s many a urban myth about plants in bedrooms and them taking the oxygen that we need to breath is the most common. But ya actually not true! They’re not taking that much! But of course one needs to open the windows to air the room(or ventilation through vents), but that should be done anyway. Hope that helped!
