What a joyful garden and gardener. I love mixing tropical’s in among my perennials too. Thank you for this delightful tour.

*Wonderful use of space, the color is delicious and - and - and your gardens are gorgeous!!!* Many of your choices have given me thought for my own (albeit itty bitty) front & back flower gardens. Thank you so much for sharing with us : D

I would make one suggestion. In every video the gardeners mention what something looks like at it's full potential. For example, in this episode she mentions how pretty her patio and landscaping looks at night when It's illuminated. Maybe you could request pictures from the gardeners that you could edit in at those time stamps so we can get the full gist. Awesome channel. Great work. It brings out my feminine nature, which I could always use a dose of.

What a gorgeous setting she's created to enjoy with family, friends & neighbors! Hope you helped her pick a good spot to relocate that native shrub with the white flowers followed by blue berries! That surely could help screen out a view or help to enclose an area for more privacy.

particularly right up around the base, how much space should leave open? 8-12"? guess depends on size of tree and trunk, maybe you can pass on this info, it's an easy fix and she seems quite amenable to suggestions : D

I would like to know the carbon footprint/environmental impact of changing shrubs every year and getting all these exotic plants. It is important to know that gardening too comes at a price - plastic pots, water, fertilizer, pesticide.
@johnjohng6684 жыл бұрын
mysticriv what is the solution to this then? I have a garden; I do not use pesticides, ever. They are toxic and pose danger. I only do organic gardening techniques. Plastic pots, etc...hmm... you pose an interesting and challenging thought here, but everything is plastic. Children’s toys, grocery items, grocery bags, trash bags, ....almost everything has some plastic material. If this is your area of concern, may I suggest you seek out environmental groups and see what you can do personally regarding this matter. Become the change you want to see and go from there. I was chemically injured and it changed the trajectory of my life. I try to educate (inasmuch as is possible) people about safe cleaning products and the dangers chemicals pose in their homes. There is resistance from a disbelief that companies would NEVER put toxic chemicals in their products. Additionally, people are EXTREMELY resistant to change. Entitled, if you will. So, in the end, do what you can regarding environmental issues, but don’t forget to enjoy the landscape a long the journey.

John JohnG Fair play to you. You are sure working it hard. And trying as much as possible to keep it green etc. And it's nice to read when people write nice thoughtful responses to comments. We all know it's just fine to disagree and the way you and the other person write is nice and balanced. good on you.
