Matthew Kretschmer no, not THAT armor, all had their armors but this one diana wears is a gift from the gods and made by hephaestus himself, it is enchanted, magic and unbreakable while every other amazon's armor is a normal one, but yes Hyppolita trully wore it, but just her.

Batman VS Superman Down Of Justice ( 2016 ) , Wonder Woman ( 2017 ) , Justice league ( 2017 ) and Wonder Woman 1984 ( 2019 all suit got different style for me . And is not like Superman and Batman got different Actors with a different suit style in movies , for me i like the one in Wonder Woman , Justice league and Wonder Woman 1984 BVS suit is a strange one but also cool and fun .

I’d imagine she’s much older than that, but she really didn’t start wearing the costume until world war 1 to modern day. Meaning for probably thousands of years, her armor had just been sitting in a temple questioning its purpose.

In each film, Wonder Woman’s costume is a bit different in color and saturation. It’s supposed to be the same armor costume throughout, but that’s filmmaking for you. If it was exactly the same every single time, it would come across as stagnant.

Brighter colors look so golden age. I personally don’t like it. I always thought DC took the more realistic take on heroes while Marvel was more Boy Scouts and fantasy. The new suits just look corny to me. I feel in the future people will look back at Zacks take on the characters and appreciate them a hell of a lot more than people do now.

I wouldn't say that DC has a more realistic take (because you can't be realistic with super heroes that can fly and shoot lazers from their eyes or dress up as a bat) just a more gritty and unfiltered take. Also, Wonder woman, originally, in the comics, was really brightly colored. I think they're trying to make her costume a tad more accurate. Wonder woman is supposed to be associated with bright red and blue. I'm not opposed to the darker colors but I like that they're making it more true to character.

Navajo Ninja Wonder Woman’s skirt length has been consistently the same in each film she’s appeared in. The only thing that’s changed for each film was the color. It would have worked better if her skirt was a little longer from the beginning. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. They sort of tried to cover her up by giving her a black coat in the solo “Wonder Woman” movie that she sometimes wore. In “Justice League” she wore a red cloak for that one scene resetting Batman’s shoulder. In “Wonder Woman 1984” she has her Kingdom Come armor that completely covers her body. Frankly, I’m surprised they didn’t give Wonder Woman shoulder straps for her first appearance in “Batman v Superman”. Many of the Amazons on Themyscira did as we saw in the later films. Henry Cavill has been shirtless more than once while playing Superman, to be fair. The same happened to Jason Momoa as Aquaman. So it wasn’t always just Wonder Woman who showed some skin in the DCEU. But it’s true that female characters can have more revealing costumes than male characters because originally comic book readers were usually male.

a 14 It’s how she usually blocks bullets in the comics, look it up. Her Amazon heritage is very important to her and she considers her ancient Amazon armour to be a part of that. It’s based on actual Roman armour and plus, some warriors prioritize freedom of movement over total protection. If Diana wanted to walk away from every battle without a scratch, she could put on a mech suit. Be she prefers to fight the way she was trained to on Themyscira by Antiope, with a sword, shield, bracelets, lasso, and tiara. That is just how her character is and how it has always been. Therefore, the costume department made the correct decision in giving her what is essentially a gladiator outfit, but with some fancy Amazon embellishments and the classic WW colour scheme.

Such costumes are totally unrealistic, sexist & sexual for a warrior, meant only for entertainment & satisfy male lust by body exposure. Almost all male heroes are covered. Such female costumes in films, sports & dances have come from Greek gymnastics where "gymnos" means training naked. For a warrior, male or female, ancient or modern, the things which matter are stamina, endurance & protection. You can't allow a bullet or sword to touch any part of your body. But because Wonder Woman is super-fast, faster than bullets, so it became convenient to expose her body. We have existed since 100s of 1000s of years but Indecency has ruled most people's mind & society since ages & millenniums. Otherwise if you look at the blue gown of heroine in movie 10,000 BC then it shows that in ancient times also a woman can be depicted decently.

Daniel Häusser She definetly has the durability feats to be bulletproof,she took hits from Doomsday who overpowered pre resurrection supes who was able to shift a tectonic plate as stated in the bvs movie.Especially in the comics where she scales to character that can create stars,take supernovas,she literally took 3 infinite mass punches in the face which was calculated to be even lawballed in the thousands of supernovas.So why does she get hurt by mere bullets?The answer is because she is weak to sharp objects.
