Most creators give us the “how to” of the end project. You give us the process used to get there! And that’s is hugely inspiring. The “wittering” is important. And the pet wrestling was a bonus. Thank you. Hope you feel better soon! ❤

Lovely tutorial, Kathryn complete with wrestling to amuse us. I now want to spend all of my time simply making tabs (clusters) regardless of where or when they might be used. This would also be a fun project to teach in class with all materials shared, perhaps with the added challenge of a theme. Your examples are very artistic and thank you for sharing your thought process and experience throughout. You are always so helpful and we love listening to you.

Definitely want to go through and rewatch this one! The journal making process has been feeling overwhelming to me for some reason. I have collected a lot of things and it is slowly taking shape in my mind. But I haven't gotten very far in the making. I feel a need to go slow and let the pieces fall into place as they may. The theme seems to be a combination of trees, my wildness, women and friendship....at least that seems to be what I am collecting. I am wittering here....and appreciate that it is okay to do that...thank you!

The wrap is lovely. That interfaces running stitch is so medieval looking. I love it. The word freedom in a cage is a very interesting oxymoron. I suspect it describes exactly where you find yourself at present. It's a process that has no end this Self that we are. Always becoming. I note you are becoming aware of how often you apologize. Listen back through your video and make a tick on a little piece of precious paper how often you say sorry or excuse me or I apologize. I think you will get a shock. Awareness is a most important step in changing. You could try saying "I AM ALLOWED". I am wittering because I am allowed to. My hair is showing in the camera and I am allowed to. Just because Kathryn just because you are you being you. Sorry stems from the socialization of I am not allowed. Someone from your past taught you that and it's a big fat lie! You are allowed. Happy New Year and lots of ❤️ Arohanui from me in Aotearoa New Zealand. Xxx

Thank you Jan, I am sure you are right about the freedom in a cage. And the sorry thing, I know who it came from and who reinforced it more recently in my life. I am a work in progress, I will try replacing it with I am allowed. Always becoming. Yes. ❤️

Not an inker. I edge my words or images with a sharpie or alcohol marker. I gently slide the marker along the edge and sometimes hold it against the edge to give it a wick like technique which makes it look more grunge. Since alcohol markers are cheaper than ink pads and so many colors, I mix and match my edging

I also think FredFreds hair on your journal wrap adds character and a bit of real life to your journal, I would just leave it. Thank you for sharing the process and your wittering. Instead of a dab of glue could you use the giant paper clip to hold layers together? Stencilling - me too 😂 the tiny bathroom had stencilling edging on the few walls - in dusky pink and sage green on the ubiquitous magnolia wall - funnily enough variations of those 3 colours are still my favourites
